The device will not be usable during the install. - The download will take approximately 20 minutes. The installation will take approximately 10 minutes. Update your software: Software will be automatically downloaded to your phone 1. A notification will be sent to the device prompting you to install the update 2. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the update Or 1. Go to the Home screen 2. Tap Menu > Settings > System updates > HTC software update 3. Tap Check now to see if any updates are available If a system update is available, tap OK to download the update Once the download is complete, you will be asked to install it; tap OK Check the software version on your phone: 1. Go to the Home screen 2. Tap Menu > Settings > About phone > Software Information 3. The build number and software number show the current version on your phone |
